Not worth it!

What a disappointment! This book is not worth the time, money, or effort. Obviously there was no proofreading done - there are so many mistakes in the entire book. And not just in the reading, either. There are just as many mistakes in the actual recipes themselves. I have a Stevia cookbook, and it looks like those recipes were copied word for mispelled word into this cookbook because the Stevia one had alot of misspelled words, too. Also, didn't anyone try these recipes before putting them in the book?? Just glancing through it I found 2 macaroni and cheese recipes that did not list macaroni in the ingredient list. I also noticed one that needed to be baked in the oven, but neither the temperature nor time required to bake it was listed. There are also several recipes that call for one cup of Stevia. I have tasted Stevia and it is so sweet there is no way any recipe could handle that amount of it. Again, simple proofreading, and testing the recipes before final insertion in the book would have caught that. It almost seemed like the book was just slapped together with little or no effort. In all fairness, though, there are some recipes, that do look like they'd be good with a little readjusting.

I've been looking for a cookbook like this, HOWEVER...

I have had two bouts with pancreatitis, and I have been searching for more information about diet and nutrition with recipes that I could make to prevent further problems. When I first saw this book, I thought it was going to be perfect for me, but unfortunately, it was a letdown. First of all, I could not get passed all of the editing errors. The book is riddled with misspelled words and punctuation errors. It seems that if the author is going to put him/herself out there as an expert, they would at least proof the book. As far as the recipes go, they are just okay. I had high hopes for the book, but in the end, I was disappointed.

Where is a food list. Re do this book. Not very helpful as it is. The list on line are free and better
