Blueprints for a better social life

I have read more books on picking up women and increasing confidence in social situations than I care to admit. Had I read this one first, I could have saved myself a great deal of time. The advice contained is coherent, practical and honest. The most logical way to approach your love life in order to improve it is to first become the man you want to be. Cultivate your own person before going out looking for someone else. Self cultivation is also a very good way to actually discover exactly what it is you want in another person. This book fits perfectly within that approach. It is invaluable to those getting started and a nice refresher for those of us who have read a lot of the books and lifted each of these behaviors from them. This books is unconditionally the foundation of everything you will ever need to know about interacting with women and men. If attracting women were akin to building a house, these are the blueprints.

Simple and straightforward rules to be your best self

This book contains 101 common sense rules. Common sense that can be forgotten as work and stress make you less careful on how you look and feel. This book is for anyone looking for help in learning or reminding himself the basic rules that make a man. This is a small book, without difficult ideas or big plans. Adopting this kind of lifestyle is a great start for every man, in his quest to be the man he dreamed. The rest, I believe, will follow... I really enjoyed the book, good thing it didn't t contain anything useless like how to ride a horse or win armwrestling...
A word of notice: This book is not specialised on a specific topic, like style or behaviour. It covers all topics in a general way, for people to create a strong lifestyle base to build upon.

positive advice...

I borrowed this book from amazon, so I only had to ante up my time.
The author starts with a modest and humble introduction. He confesses that much of what the reader is about to read is obvious, common sense, and not surprising. And he's right.
"How To Be An Attractive Man" is a list, numbered 1 - 100, of simple words of wisdom; each consisting of a couple of paragraphs. There are a few typos and awkward inappropriate pronouns - insinuating the reader is wanting to be attractive to other *men*. Or maybe the gender thing is intentional, I don't know.
Regardless, I'm glad I read it. And while I may not be ready to shave my pubic hair, get my back waxed, and whiten my teeth - as the author advises - I am feeling a lot of positive energy from the read. It's quick, light-hearted, and contains a lot of timeless good advice. It's almost like listening to a wise metrosexual grandpa.
